My story

Hi there! Thanks for visiting my page! Here you can read a little more about my journey.

I was born and raised in Adelaide and from a very early age I have been drawing and making things. My entire spare time at school was spent in the art room creating. My earliest lesson learnt was to paint and draw what you feel. After I finished school, I went on to study Fine and Commercial Art, Nursing and Hospitality.

In 2005, I returned to painting when my children, Alex and Jasmine, started school. My husband, John, gave me five tubes of paints, a canvas and a few brushes for my birthday and I took myself back to art classes.

In no time at all, I was completely hooked and I began developing my unique, whimsical style which quickly became extremely popular and sought after. I secured gallery representation in commercial galleries in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Adelaide, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

In 2008, I opened my own commercial studio and gallery and have been happily painting there ever since. From time to time, I run workshops for children and adults, as I love spending time with others who want to create and paint for their own fulfilment.

My style is ever evolving and I seek to express the joys of love, friendship and happiness with compositions celebrating the simple things in life. Each painting tells its own story and is often based on experiences that have touched my life.

These days, the demand for private commissions is such that Iā€™m happily busy collaborating and creating paintings for clients all over.

My loves in life are my family, my friends, my puppies, the ocean, fine food, wine and of course my art. Everyday, before heading to the studio, I swim from Manly to Shelly Beach and back again and this is such a magical way to start my day. I feel lucky I can make a career of my art and am able to share it with you all.

Thanks for visiting, have a look around and if you have any questions or comments, we'd love to hear from you.
