Paint Pens
Paint pens or paint markers are great for finishing your artwork and creating fine detail which is often hard to achieve with a brush. In this picture I am using them to add highlights to my colourful fish. They are a staple accessory in my studio and can be purchased at Office Works. My favourite brand is posca and liquitex.

Painting a Sunset with Watercolours - Step by Step Guide
Take your watercolour paper and draw a horizontal line just under the half way point on your page.
Wet your paper with a brush from the horizon line upwards to the top of the page
Pick up some yellow and run it along the top of the horizon line
Pick up some orange and run it above the yellow allowing the yellow and orange to blend.
Pick up some pink and run it above the orange
Pick up some purple and run it above the pink, again allowing the colours to blend.
Fill the corners of the top of the page with dark blue.
Return to beneath your horizon line and add yellow. Bring the yellow almost to the bottom of your page.
Paint some magenta along the bottom of the page, allowing the pink and yellow blend.
Allow to Dry
Once dry, make a blue/black and paint your mountains along the horizon line, like shown in the picture.
Paint in the foreground with blue/black creating the land.
Add a palm tree to your land in the foreground and anything else to personalise it
Add a few little birds in the sky
Congratulations, you have just painted your very own sunset
