"Curious about the pot of gold, one morning, Queen Kate set out on a quest to find it. It wasn't long before Queen Kate spotted one of the four sisters from the house that shared her garden."

Kate sets off! I gave this spread as much energy and movement as I could — petals flying, colour everywhere. She is brave and a little reckless, and I adored painting that feeling of a quest just beginning.

An original painting from the children’s book The Most Magnificent Pot of Gold. The works are currently on exhibition across three Queensland galleries — Grasslands Gallery in Tambo, Bushmans Artisan Gallery in Blackall, and New Creation Gallery in St George — running from 17 April to October 2026, and are available for purchase online and in the galleries. All paintings will be delivered upon the close of the exhibition in October.
