"Curious about the pot of gold, one morning, Queen Kate set out on a quest to find it. It wasn't long before Queen Kate spotted one of the four sisters from the house that shared her garden."

The first sister Kate encounters — barefoot in the garden, completely absorbed in her own world. I painted her with such care because she is a real girl, and I wanted that realness to come through in every detail.

An original painting from the children’s book The Most Magnificent Pot of Gold. The works are currently on exhibition across three Queensland galleries — Grasslands Gallery in Tambo, Bushmans Artisan Gallery in Blackall, and New Creation Gallery in St George — running from 17 April to October 2026, and are available for purchase online and in the galleries. All paintings will be delivered upon the close of the exhibition in October.
