As Queen Kate was following the new directions, she bumped into Jacqui. 'Would you like some of this fresh, flowery fruit salad?' Jacqui offered. 'Absolutely! It smells so sweet and tastes divine — the perfect recipe, words cannot describe,' Jacqui replied."

Jacqui — generous, gentle, offering something beautiful with both hands. I painted her eyes closed as if she is just savouring the moment. There is such kindness in this page. She is my favourite kind of character to paint.

An original painting from the children’s book The Most Magnificent Pot of Gold. The works are currently on exhibition across three Queensland galleries — Grasslands Gallery in Tambo, Bushmans Artisan Gallery in Blackall, and New Creation Gallery in St George — running from 17 April to October 2026, and are available for purchase online and in the galleries. All paintings will be delivered upon the close of the exhibition in October.
